Better sleep is associated with higher physical activity the next day in adults with autism
In a cohort study of 17 adults with autism, better sleep was significantly associated with higher physical activity (step count) the next day. No consistent effect was found of sleep on stress the next day or of stress on sleep quality the following night, with substantial individual variability.
