A systematic review and meta-analysis of 8 RCTs with 683 participants found that walking interventions increased total sleep time by 34.23 minutes (95% CI: 24.72 to 43.74) and reduced wake after sleep onset by 11.58 minutes (95% CI: -18.50 to -4.66). No significant effects were observed for sleep efficiency, sleep latency, or PSQI total score.
